Spool Stage 3 DIY Low-Pressure Fuel Pump for BMW S58 is a secondary-pump upgrade designed around a simple in-tank bracket system and customer-selectable pump activation.
- Walbro 450 or Walbro 525 pump choice
- Three secondary-pump activation choices: Hobbs switch, ReFlex plug-and-play or ReFlex flying lead
- Supplier states installation uses a compact clip and bracket arrangement in the OEM tank
- Hobbs-switch configuration activates the secondary pump at approximately 10 psi
- ReFlex flying-lead configuration uses a tuner-controlled ground trigger
- ReFlex plug-and-play configuration is intended for compatible full replacement ReFlex harnesses
Fitment: Spool confirms S58 G-chassis fitment. The supplier does not confirm F97/F98 fitment for this DIY kit, so this M Lab listing is routed to G80/G81/G82/G83/G87 applications only.
Important: Spool recommends the Walbro 450 for most applications. The Walbro 525 has higher current draw and should be matched to an appropriate control strategy.
